Smokin Brothers History
Smokin Brothers started in the fall of 2005 at the
Hermann, MO BBQ and Brats Festival. Ryan and Craig
formed the team of Smokin Brothers to compete in the KCBS contest not knowing what we were getting
into. On Saturday morning we called Adam in for some
help and luckily David showed up in the afternoon. We didn't
get a call but we were hooked just the same. Now
several years and several contests later we've had a few
calls and are taking our enjoyment of BBQ to a whole new
level.
Our starting of Smokin Brothers, Inc. in 2008 was in
response to all of the positive feedback and praises we have
received from friends, family and fellow BBQers. We
started offering our Butt the Kitchen SinkTM rub because
that is what we were using the most when we were cooking at
our family BBQs and at competitions. Little did we
know that we would get such an enthusiastic following and
requests for additional products. Since then we have
added our Plus the Kitchen SinkTM
to satisfy those looking for a little kick and Smokin Brothers Original BBQ SauceTM to
complement the rubs.
In 2011, Smokin Brothers expanded its product offerings to
Smokin BrothersTM
100% Pure Unblended Natural Wood Pellets and
American Made Smokin BrothersTM
Pellet Grills.
Smokin Brothers was looking for pellets that provided more
smoke flavor and bettter consitency without any luck.
So we decided to start our own line that would be pure wood
with no blends. These pellets give us a distinct smoke
flavor, but also allows us to blend the pellets if we want a
more complex flavor profile.
We have been competing and cooking on wood pellet grills for
several years but have always found issues with each grill
we used. We formed a partnership with Premier Sheet
Metal of Nicholasville, KY and designed a line of grills
that perform to our specifications, by holding a constant
temp, have plenty of grill space and are built in America with quality
and care in mind. We have been using these
grills at our competitions and our family cookouts with
great success. |
